Pregnancy Tests??? x?

Okay so my best friend is scared she is pregnant. Her last period was on the 28th August to the 1st August & she had unprotected s*x on the 25th August, she tested the next day but it said negative...was it too erly for it to be positive??

When can she take a test??

you can't take a pregnancy test after one day of having s*x. If she hasn't gotten her period yet buy a multipack of test and try one now. If negative again wait a week and see if it starts. If still no bleeding take a test again and by then she should have a positive if she is.

i don't think you can tell until a month after your last period- well the pregnancy test kits.

you should wait and see if she misses her next due period and because its all to do with your menstural cycle your eggs are only released during a certain stage with in your cycle and sperm can stay alive in you for 3days i think :s, and taking a test the day after will not show a thing it won't come up positive until after cells start dividing after fertilisation. she really needs to have a check if she misses her next period

This doesn't make any sense: She had s*x on the 25th of AUG- started her period on the 28th of AUG to the 1st of AUG??? how did that happen? did it last a whole year?

Tell her to wait until her next cycle is up, if she is late then take another test.

It's not likely that she is pregnant as her period would have been due on the 25th, she can take a test now and it should show a true result. good luck x

Many home tests "can" detect pregnancy as early as 4-5 days before the missed period..    however for more accurate results, its best to wait until after the missed period.

I think I took my pregnancy test about 3-4 days into the week that I should have been menstruating and got positive results.

Sounds like she had s*x during her most fertile time frame.. there's a very good possability of pregnancy.  However, stress will also cause a missed period.

You can't take a test the DAY after you have s*x. She's going to have to wait and see if she missed her next period and then test.

You cannot take a pregnancy test the day after s*x and expect it to be accurate. I don't know where girls get the idea that they can do this. TV, movies, what? Anyway, the reason she can't get an accurate result the day after s*x is that she's not pregnant the day after.

The only way she'd get a positive the next day is if she were already pregnant at the time she had s*x. There's no other way.

The rock bottom minimum wait is two weeks. You can't trust a negative result until you've waited at least that long.
