Pregnancy/Yeast Infection?

I Believe I have a yeast infection. I've never had one before but I've read the symptoms and have all of them. Also, My period is 5 days late. I tested for pregnancy yesterday and it came back negative. I'm cramping and my breast are sore , as usual PMS. Can a yeast infection cause an interruption to your menstrual cycle? Also the last time I had unprotected s*x was a week and 2 days ago.

  1. It's very possible that the yeast infection could cause your period to be delayed because the infection is stressing the body (an example only).

I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
