I was on Paxil for olmost 8yrs, until a few weeks ago when I found out that I am pregnant. I was being tapperd off, and was doing well... But a few days after my last dose of Paxil, I relapsed and had a major panic attack! I was able to get a hold of my doc the same day and he called me in Wellbutrin(he said was safer on the fetus).. I took the Wellbutrin for 6 days and was feeling really paranoid, and anxious! I made an appoitment to see him and he changed my pills to Citalopram(generic for celexa) Im on day 2 of the new one and coming off of the wellbutrin.......My heart feels heavy and my pupils are huge. Im trying to stay strong and wait it out ! I just dont want to hurt my baby! Has anyone had a similar problem?? any advice on the pill its self?? How long for full effects???

  1. pregnancy causes hormones go crazy, so it oftentimes cuases dpression itself. It`s always betetr to stay off any medications during opregnancy and try to deal with the problem in other ways. good luck to you and your baby!
