Pregnancy test brings on period?

Question

do you find that the minute you pop out to buy a pregnancy test your period hows up! why is that its really annoying!

i went to superdrug to buy one then after i popped to waitrose loo my period had started. its sod's law i think.

who else finds they go through this every month?

this happen to me this morning! lol i was 4 day late and i am never late!  i took the test and about 15 min later it started!

kinda happened to me once

apat from i was at the doctors to do a test, the doctor asked to pop to the loo to fill the tub thing with my urine, when i went to the loo i noticed my period had started lol was so embarassed to tell the doctor, she still took the test anyway

Yes I have had that happen too. Its annoying. I get fustrated and am like "great I just wasted money on a stupid test I didnt need". Where I live they can get expensive, almost $30. Not sure how much that is where you live.

lol yeh thats always happening to me. I get all excited like yay i mite be pregnant n then....that happens!

i wouldnt mind but it could at least do it b4 id opened it, then i could use it the month after lol.

cost a fortune, jus cant w8 till it doesnt happen lol.

that is definately me....last month i swear the moment i got the pregnancy test and use it to get a big ole not pregnant the next morning like clockwork there was af.....

this month i am 4 days  late tested four days before af is due and sure enough there goes the bfn ....

so i was like ok great that means af should be showing her ugly face by tomorrow or on time.......so we can start all over again......

then today i tested bfn! so maybe like clockwork af should be here tomorrow ....so we can start fresh

Ha! So true. I even kept that theory for a while, and i was starting a new job and thought, oh, i'll take a test and sods law will make my period come before this new job...

It was positive. We can't win!

Who knows what circumstances i'll be in when i conceive again! sods law,i hate u!

OMG, lol that is too funny because I was starting to notice this pattern myself!!  EVERY month...... GAWD it's frustrating!  I'm just not buying one this month (yeah right), but seriously I'm going to try and just forget about it!

That happened to me about 1/2 a dozen times. I started making a joke If I wanted my period to start I said all I needed to do was Pee on a stick.  Worked everytime!

Eventually one time I took a test and the positive line kind of stopped the periods for awhile  :)

LOL!!  Yes, sometimes when I am late I figure I might as well take the test so my period will just start and I can get on to another month of trying!  I think it must be the stress of wanting to be pregnant.  When we see there is no chance our bodies relax enough to let it flow!

In the past, when I thought I was preg. I'd get a test and use it, it would come up negative and usually that night or the next day my period would start.  For me I think it was the stress of knowing weather or not I was that started it.
