Pregnancy test lines?

should the positive line on a pregnancy test get darker after a couple of days? if it's lighter, can that be a sing of miscarriage? i took an hpt on tuesday and it was positive and had a blood test that was positive on wednesday. but i was spotting so i'm taking a second blood test this week to make sure hormone levels are going up. i took another hpt today and it was really light. i'm only a few weeks pregnant. bur i'm really scared that the spotting meant miscarriage.

i had very light brown spotting when i was pregnant and my hormones where higher then normal....thats a sign of a molar pregnancy...if you get the blood test, and if its not going down...that doesnt mean its a good sign....get an ultrasound or listen to the heart with a dopler at least....any spotting during pregnancy is bad....so get it checked out right away...i had to get a D&C and i had to see my baby on the ultrasound dead :(

In my experience: I tested positive with a digital test only 7dpo. It popped up preg. right away. Like 30 seconds. Then I took another digital test 4 days later, and it took longer to pop up pregnant. Then the next day it took even longer to pop up pregnant. A blood test confirmed that I had a chemical pregnancy. So, if your hormones are doubling like they are supposed to, your line should get darker. I got my period right on schedule too. So, be prepared for a chemical pregnancy. I hope that this isn't the case. Just be prepared.

Best thing to do is go see a doctor when you bleed and your pregnant it could mean a lot of things that only a doctor can really explain to you.

Not necessarily. Call the hospitaland make an appointment. You need to head to the emergency room, I think.
