  1. the day u miss ur period

  2. I would say the first weekend in September to get an accurate reading..  Good Luck!!

  3. wait till a few days before your expected period

  4. You could take a test now, the one that is suppose to detect it 5 days before your missed period.

  5. Clear Blue Easy can be taken up to 5 days before your period. If you want to go all out you can get a blood test. They can tell the earliest.

  6. Since you were on birth control it's harder to tell when you can take a test, just because you don't know what your "regular" cycle is.  However, your best bet is to make an assumption based on how long your cycle was while you were on the pill.  Using that number of days (first day of one period to first day of next period) then calculate when your period should be due.

You can try an early results pregnancy test up to 4 days or so before you expect your period, but don't expect it to be accurate.  I have always been the queen of preg. tests.  I usually start about 4-5 days before I've expected my period.  If you get a negative, wait 2 days and take another.  The earlier you take it the more important it is to use first morning urine.  The 3 postives I've had have all been different, my earliest showed up positive 3 days before my period, my latest showed up positive on the day I expected my period.  With all of those pregnancies (i'm currently in my third) I got pregnant the first month being off of birth control!

    good luck to you!

  7. Although it's not recommended to try to get pregnant for at least 2 months after stopping birth control, I was in the same situation as you with my first. However, I counted back and figured out I got pregnant only 1 week after I stopped, but all the EPT's and even the blood test at the hospital came back negative, until I was 12 weeks along!!! I don't know for sure if it was because I had stopped taking the pill so recently or what, but with my second daughter I was never on birth control and the EPT showed positive at only 3 weeks! (I'm a rare case the doc says) but if you're trying, don't give up hope, 'cause those tests aren't 100% accurate! Good luck!

  8. I would wait until you miss your period, personally it's not worth wasting the money and taking a test and it coming up negative and then get your period a few days later. It's best to wait and see if you do miss your period. Also you can get a decently accurate result 14 days or so after having s*x.

  9. Usually it takes a couple months for your cycle to right itself after stopping birth control, it may not be possible to get pregnant this soon.  But I would wait until the end of next week to take a test just in case.  When I stopped the pill I didn't get my period for 3 months after, then I got pregnant right after that.  Good luck.

  10. My period was due Tuesday as well. I took a test (actually 2 to make sure) today and both were positive.

    Good luck.

  11. I love this ovulation calculator if you are trying to get pregnant. It estimates when you should take the test but also which days in each cycle you should have s*x and when your period is due next.

It worked for me on the first month. And we'll see if it worked for me this month (with my second child).

Typically the most accurate testing is on the day of your missed period. If you take one of those early tests that lets you check four days before your period it's only something like 66% accurate. (it says on the box you can test 5 days earlier than the other tests but that's assuming with the other tests you are waiting until the day after your period is due. If that makes any sense to you. So really it's only 4 days before your period). I used it and it came back neg until the day my period was due.

  12. 5 days before your suppose to get your period
