Pregnant, not pregnant..which is it..? Because i really want to be pregnant!!?

okay so I've taken few test..first test said pregnant then i took another and it said not pregnant.. spotted for 3 days very lightly..i took another test and it said pregnant..couple days later not pregnant....at times i feel i am! my husband and i are ready for a second baby!!! i made a doctors appointment for blood work..but it's not till sept. 2!! can i be pregnant...we did have s*x on my ovulating days..what do you think.. my periods haven't been regular...

I would guess pregnant.  You would have to have some hcg in your system to cause a test to read positive.  Sometimes there just isn't enough yet for some tests to detect.  (Some are more sensitive to others).  Retest again in 2-3 days and be sure to read the test in the stated time.  If you read it after the time they tell you to, you may see an evaporation line which would be a false positive.

Obviously, the best information will come from having a quantitative beta hcg drawn and then repeated 2-3 days later to be sure it is doubling.  That is a good sign that the pregnancy is progressing normally.

I would say yes...but stop taking the tests!  Your making yourself a wreck.  Do as if you are pregnant, and then in week or so take another test before you go to your MD's appointment.  RELAX!!! Let mother nature take her course.  Good Luck

Your pregnant! You cant get a false positive...the test is checking for a pregnancy hormone that your body only makes if you are pregnant

(the same thing happenend to me and thats what my doc said) you CAN however get false negatives especially if your urine was diluted or if your very early on in your pregnancy. Go to the doctor just to be sure but I would bet your pregnant!

Any positive on those tests is positive.  They make them so it's more likely to get a false negative than it is a positive.  Definitely go for the blood work but it definitely sounds like you are pregnant.  Congrats.

Usually if the test is pos. your are preggers.. it's really hard to get a false pos. so.. I will say CONGRATS now :).. I am in the same boat you are. I am 2 weeks late.. and like 6 urine tests say neg.. but I feel preggers.. and waiting to get my blood work done.. but congrats! cause at least you got a pos.. good luck & let us know :).. xo

same thing...i took a test last night and i can swear i saw a faint line...i took one today and nothing...so i don't know what to think!
