I have an embarrassing too much information question. I have yellow discharge so much that I have to wear a pad, everyday.

I told my doctor she told me that discharge is normal during pregnancy.

It’s gross and smells funny and it’s starting to irritate my skin down there.

My doctors’ appointment is this Tuesday.

I just really want to hear about other pregnant woman and if they are going through this to?

  1. I had a yeast infection my entire pregnancy.  I am allergic to the meds that they could give me while I was pregnant, so I had to do other things to keep it in check.  I made boric acid pills and inserted them every night.  It just kept my v****a a little acidic which makes yeast go away and I took baths with vinegar.  Neither one of those are the most fun options, but they did help me a lot.

  2. Discharge is normal during pregnancy(and a lot of it)

I've had the clear snotty looking discharge and the yellow through out all 3 of my pregnancies but when the yellow discharge was coming out so much I also had to wear a pad(yeah,no period but still had to wear a pad lol) and come to find out I had a yeast infection...I'm not saying that is the case with you but just stress to the doctor that you want all options considered since you are worried about it. Better to put your mind at ease then to worry with no results.

    Best of Luck

  3. if it smells funny and irritates the skin, it might be an infection. get it checked out asap

  4. I have not been pregnant anymore but i have heared about your problem from many women so far . i think it is normanl.

  5. sounds like it could be an infection due to the color, irritation, and smell. If it is an infection it will need to be treated because it can be bad for your baby. I would call your doctor tomorrow and see if he thinks you should come in, if not, im sure you are fine, just tell him what you told us! good luck girlie :)

  6. When I was pregnant, I always had discharge, but it wasn't smelly or irritating to my skin.  It is most likely not an emergency, but you may be getting a yeast infection (they are very common in pregnancy).  Clean the area gently with a cool wash cloth or Tux pad (for hemorrhoids) each time you use the bathroom, to help ease irritation.   I would talk to your doctor on Tuesday and see what he thinks.

    Good Luck!
