Pregnant?! Please answer! (Will give a best answer!)?

A month ago I had protected s*x w/ my bf. Condom never broke he pulled out etc.

I was worried about my period, and kept stressing so I took 4 HPT and all were negative. It was a week late but came exactly 2 weeks ago today. It was normal. 1. Light 2. Heavy 3. Heavy 4. Tapering off 5. tapering off.

I wasn't concerned until I read that you could still be pregnant and have a period. So now I'm stressing once again.

I went out yesterday afternoon and bought the CVS Preg.Test and took it. Within minutes it was negative. However about an hour and a half later I noticed some smearing and a faint line appearing in the "positive" area. I hear this is more likely an evaporation line. First thing this morning I took another test, this time it was negative and it never developed any line, it just stayed negative. How common are they and do you think I'm pregnant?

I'm getting on BC. And I know I'm paranoid---I'm just making sure.

  1. If you've taken several tests and they've all been negative, chances are you aren't pregnant.  Most tests these days are pretty accurate.  Especially if it's been over a month since you had s*x with your bf, the test would be clear as day.  If it had only been a week or two, there's a possibility the line would be really light because your hormone levels wouldn't have changed enough.

Also, you'd probably notice changes in tiredness, nausea, b***s hurt etc...by now if you were pregnant.

  2. Don't worry dear, you are not pregnant...

  3. not pregnant.

I got a negative at 2 days before my period was due, but on the day it was due i got a faint faint positive. I doubt you're pregnant.

I got a very strong positive at 2 weeks after my missed period.

  4. yes it is possible to be pregnant and get your period but not likely.. and yes it is possible to get pregnant and use a condom or even be on BC but not likely(although did happen to me).. and yes it is possible for all those test to be wrong... but i really dont think you are pregnant ... im sure you will be fine you need to just take a deep breath and relax... if you are really this worried go to the doctor.. they can tell you for sure but it really doesnt sound like it. i wish you the best of luck...

  5. I think it's a good idea that you are getting on birth control. Like that you will feel a lot more comfortable :)

You are not supposed to rely on a pregnancy test after 4 minutes. So if it turned a faint line after an hour, then that is not a reliable result. I could see why you would freak out though!

So you took another test, and it came out negative, I really don't think you have anything to worry about. I don't think you are pregnant.

Yea, you could still be pregnant and get your period, but your pregnancy test would have come out positive.... But it didn't for you, so don't stress :) Hope this helped :)

  6. if both still showed negative in the morning i dont think you have anything to worry about. if you dont get your period next month then go see your gynocologist and do a urine or blood test to know for sure. good luck!! dont stress yourself out

  7. I doubt your pregnant.. Your causing your period to be late because your stressing. After about 10 min I think it is you have to disregard the pregnancy test, they are no longer good after that and sometimes a positive line appears when you are not pregnant. They are defaulty after so many minutes. It would be smart to get on bc though just so you dont have further confusions like these!

  8. I would wait to have more s*x til you're married. You're stressin too much

  9. you are definatly not pregnant. i would bet my own life. the stress probably caused your period to be late. this can happen. if he pulled out and the condom never broke, and you got your period and five tests say your not then der honey your NOT!!

  10. You are not Pregnant.  Yes it is possible to get your period when you are pregnant, But it is unlikely.  In fact the first major sign of pregnancy is usually a missed period.  Now sometimes women confuse implantation spotting with a period.  Implantation spotting is when the egg actually implants itself in the uterus and that can cause light spotting.  But with that many negative tests, I'm pretty sure you are not pregnant.  But quit stressing about it because if you don't you will trick your body into thinking that you are and start getting all the symptoms, even though you are not pregnant.  Trust me, it has happened  to me a couple of times.

  11. Do the easier thing, visit your doctor. No insurance, go to planned parenthood.  This will give you the answer you are looking for and if it' is negative, you can get bc from them for free, or for a simple donation.  Good lunck

  12. you're just stressing. not pregnant.
