Question:

Pregnant and I think I am retaining water...?

When anytime I lean my legs on to, or press against something I get an indentation of it on my legs, My legs have been worse. before I was pregnant, (I have water retention and High blood pressure before pregnancy) But now they don't seem to swollen but they are and sines I am a heavy person Its hard to tell. But am I retaining water and what can I do to help it, besides low salt diet and putting my legs up. I'm scared I will get preeclamica. My blood pressure is fine also. I don't see my doctor for 2 more weeks.

  1. Definately time to call your doctor.  There are so many ways this could go and it sounds like you are already doing what home remedies you can do.  Are you on your feet during the day or are you able to keep them up most of the day?  You may need to take more frequent breaks in your daily routine and afternoon naps may give you some relief.


  2. Call your dr asap. And actually I've heard drinking lots of water helps too.  

  3. Dont wait 2 weeks, try to see your doctor now
