  1. It's difficult to say, you should phone up your vet and describe to them what you've just said here, if they think you need to come down there - you should, just to be safe!

  2. Well if you keep putting her in with the buck and he mounts her then falls off she may now be bred more than once. Never use this as a way to detect pregnancy. Doe rabbits have a horn shaped uterus that is like having 2 uterus. She can implant eggs in one horn then breed with the buck again, even up to 2 weeks after first being bred, and have eggs implant in the other horn. The first set of kits will kindle and then either the younger set will be aborted at that time or she may end up having more kits 2 weeks later..

Sometimes doe will refuse to breed again if they are pregnant sometimes they will let the buck mount them. that is not a sure indication of pregnancy or not.

Does do not prepare to kindle(give birth) until a week to a few days before their due date. Gestation is 31 days on average (can go 28-35 days). On the 28th day you should place a nest box in her cage with pine shaving in the bottom and hay on the top. She will pull fur and make a nest to kindle in.

Some does personalities change, others stay the same the whole time. So that is not an indication of pregnancy at all.

Make sure you mark a calendar when you breed and count ahead 31 days so you know when she is due.

Also learn how to palpate the doe so you can check for kit development and then you will know for sure if she is carrying any kits.

**EDIT- To Arien- rabbits do not go into a heat cycle at all- they are induced ovulators, which means they release their egg when the buck mounts and breeds them. They do not have cycles like other mammals do nor do they bleed during a heat cycles like others.

  3. im thinking she is most likely in heat. and if the make mounted her, then it is easily possible. has your rabbit ever been i heat before? i kno with almost ALL animals theya st that way in heat. if she starts gaining weight, lol. you should take her to a vet and find out. but, just in case, be prepared, and be ready to put extra  bedding, and extra heat to keep the babies warm and happy. :) good luck:)

  4. Why don't you get her spayed instead of adding to the pet overpopulation problem and risking her dying of uterine cancer?
