Pregnant dreams?

I keep having dreams that I'm pregnant and go into labour, I even feel the pain of it (obviously not the real pain of labour) but still pain and my partner is always missing in the dream

Does anyone know what being pregnant in dreams means?

Dreams dont always mean what you see in them.. they are symbols of other things.. for example being pregnant in a dream means a new Project, giving birth in a dream means you are giving life to a new project in your life whether its a life changing choice, job, etc... to give birth to it means you will be faced with a challenge .. depending on the birth of the child whether you have a healthy or not so healthy child in your dream means whether you are going to go through with your project or abandon it. What is going on in your life that might make you make a choice over something? Think about it and decide what you are going to do... whatever you choose do what is best for you.

If someone see you in dream and you are pregnant, that means something good is anticipated to happen. But if you see yourself pregnant, it means you will marry. Though pregnancy in dreams while being single means a marriage may end in failure.

If you dream that you are giving birth, that means you are going to pay off a debt, and survive through hardships. Finally, some people will be punished for what they did.

I'm going to add my disclaimer that you're the best person to analyse your own dreams. You know what's going on in your life, and how to symbols your brain has created may relate to that.

But, here's my impression. Labour is a difficult time, you're feeling the pain in your dream so it's something you're struggling with. It sounds like you feel your partner is not being supportive in some area of your life where you feel you need them, or that they're not in the same "place" as you in the relationship.

Being pregnant is relatively common -- even men sometimes have them!

If this were my dream:

Somthing has been growing within me. I feel pain in trying to externalize this inner growth. Perhaps this is difficulty I'm facing in expressing my own personal growth? My partner is missing in the dream -- perhaps a sign that I need more support from my partner in order to feel more at ease during this difficult phase?

Does anything ring true? Whenever you get an 'Aha!!' moment, that's when you have the right interpretation. Ultimately, the dreamer is the expert in his/her own dream.
