  1. when i knew what i was having, the sooner the better!!

  2. They say to do it during the second trimester. We've just begun now at 28 weeks (third trimester) because we'd had a death in the family. Now out cot isn't arriving for 12 weeks (I'm due in less that 12 weeks), our dresser with the change table on top is still to be made. Our pram isn't coming until the end of September.

SO I guess what I'm trying to say is that time runs out pretty quickly. Once you're in your second trimester and you're baby's okay and you're okay (maybe 20 weeks?)- start ordering!

  3. A.S.A.P.

  4. I didn't do my nursery with my first child until I was 8 months pregnant because my partner and I were both working full time and very long hours, so in the last month he did the painting and helped me with the big heavy things and I did the rest. Lucky or otherwise I would've been so bored!!

With this baby I'm only 11 weeks pregnant and have had 2 miscarriages since my daughter so I'm a bit weary of the outcome yet so haven't done anything regarding the nursery.

At the moment the nursery is my junk/spare room so I have a fair bit of work to do in there lol but I want to wait until I'm a bit further along but I want to have it done by the time I'm probably 6 or 7 months.

  5. I really got stuck in at about 6 months. I did a mural too (I am lucky I had time as I finished work early)

  6. Whenever you feel comfortable about doing so. But as long as you give yourself some time to 'chill out' before the birth.

If you don't know the s*x of your child make sure you decorate in neutral tonings so you can add a 'splash' of colour when the baby arrives.

    Enjoy.
