Pregnant the day bbt is higher, suggesting ovulation?

Is it too late to conceive when bbt is high suggesting progesterone...does this mean ovulation has been completed? Once progesterone kicks in, does this mean the egg is gone? We would like to try the impossible and BD the day of or after ovulation to conceive a boy. Does anyone have suggestions? Am I way off?

well your not going to conceive a boy that way...male sperm swim faster than female sperm so if you have s*x the day after you won't get the egg it's gone already...You could have s*x the day before ovulation for your best chance of getting pregnant..but don't set yourself up for having a boy...you really have no control over that...you may never get pregnant that way...i would have s*x when it says your ovulating and chance having a little girl..

It might be too late but it is worth a try. If you check your cm and it is still ew then you have a good shot but the egg does not live for very long so if you are going to try the sooner the better after a temp rise.
