Pregnant with twins?

Question

I am 34 weeks pregnant with twin girls and have been getting on and off pains like period cramps.When I move around a lot or do too much it gets worse. Is this braxton Hicks??

Twins, how exciting!

Well with twins the pregnancy reaches the 40 wk mark because of the strain of the 2 babies on your womb, it could be the onset of labour or i could be completely wrong it could just be braxton hicks..

Im a twin and my mam only got to the 30 week mark with me and my twin and that was 21yrs ago!

Most likely. If the contractions increase, eat a high protein snack and drink a glass of water and lay down or sit down. Find out what you did to bring the contractions on and don't do that activity any longer. Early Braxton Hicks can be caused by dehydration in the mother. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water. Sounds like round ligament pain to me. As you get further along the basic physical pain of carrying twins increases. I made it to 37 weeks with my boys, at 36 (when my parents showed up) I pretty much just went to bed for the rest of my pregnancy. Just take it easy as much as you can, try to keep off your feet and keep those little one's going as long as they can. Good luck with the delivery and the first few months, if these are your first just remember, it will get easier with time and as you and your husband settle into parenthood. i am 32 weeks pregnant with twins and i get those also but i would recommend that you check with your doctor just to be safe also gravity is not your best friend now so extra wt you are caring could make you feel uncomfortable
