  1. Where I used to live had the preheadstart program for moms who need help getting their GEDs, and they take the toddlers to one room while mom studies in another. I have a diploma and didn't get to go because we were moving, and the area I'm in now doesn't have anything similar, it's hard because I don't know anyone and can't teach my daughter how to make friends as the neighborhood we are in is full of older kids.

A basic playgroup would be great, maybe with one day being just for kids(if possible, regulations need to be upheld, lol) so mom's can go get their errands done.

Another thing I'm desperately advocating for is a program that teaches you how to budget and live off that budget, especially with a toddler or baby in the house. I took all required math and home economics courses available when I was in school, and we still have no idea how to live. And living off the 400 or so welfare will give when needed is impossible. My boyfriend got a job and we make plenty to cover our bills, but we still always end up short(like now, it's a week past payday, and we have a week to go, and we have no food, milk or WIC checks left and no way to get anymore. My daughter gets to eat chicken tenders for the next week, and mom and dad will be lucky if we can have one meal a day, let alone 3. I'm not even eating dinner tonight, we just can' t afford it. And yet our income suggests we shouldn't have this problem, and we don't qualify for a lot of programs or even a good amount of foodstamps, we get 139 a month for our family of 3, as a supplemental thing, but it's not helping and we don't get it until the first.

Another great thing would be how to safely run an at home business, and which ones are actually worth looking into, as so many are fake schemes to steal our money, lol.

    Swim lessons

Animal safety lessons(so many kids are getting bit by dogs, and it's usually the child's ignorance that causes this)

    Stranger safety

And unfortuantely, one that is probably needed the most, is a common sense workshop to teach children and their parents how to use it, lol, for a lot of adults have precious little these days.

Also, maybe a workshop on when to take your child to the ER. I see thousands of people on here who are urged to take their child to the ER with a slight fever and a rash, and that's just a huge waste of resources when they could of easily waited 12 hours for the pediatricians office to open, and saved tons of money in copays and unneccessary tests at the hospital. People just can't tell the difference.

Also another great resource would be childproofing and how to afford it, lol, maybe providing safety things at cost, as gates and safety covers and everything else is so retardedly expensive, and it's a neccessary evil that too many conglomerates are cashing out on.

Also, a stress management program, to teach moms how to deal with it and how to teach toddlers how to deal with it.

Lol, I could go on forever! Good luck!
