Hi guys,

I am in 39th week and suffering such bad gastric reflux again because even though baby dropped down he's now growing again and even FOUR or more hours after I've eaten I am waking up with vomit coming up into my mouth and it is traumatising and repulsive. My stomach then groans and grumbles constantly and I feel the fluid trying to come back up my throat. I've tried ant-acids and they are not working at all anymore.

WHAT DO I DO?? I am SOOOOOOO tired and want to sleep yet I can't even lay down. I am becoming very down about it and feel like crying.

Does anyone have any tips on what to eat/when to eat it/how to eat or anything at all!! that may help relieve me some?

Thanks in advance.

  1. You are so close girl! It always gets a little worse before it gets better. Sleep in a recliner if you can, or elevate your head at night. Good luck..congrats will be in order soon..WOO HOO!

  2. I would try some matlock.  It is supposed to be good for that stuff.  That is what my sister in law takes.  When I don't feel good ginger ale always helps settle my tummy.  Good luck.

  3. First one thing may work for a short time and then you may have to try something else.  I have acid reflux and morning sickness throughout my entire pregnancy.  Acupuncture helped as well as acupressure.  (you can by these wrist bands at your local drugstore for car sickness) and wear them on your wrists, a lot.  Peppermint helped me as well.  Sleeping with your head/torso elevated may help also.  I wish you the best of luck.  It does get instantly better after your child is born.

  4. DELIVER THE BABBY.

ART THOU FARTING A LOT TOO?

PHEW GIRL. THOU HAD BETTER DELIVER THAT BABBY SOON. THIGH'VE BEEN WATCHING OVER THOU, BUT THIGH'M GONNA HAVE TO LEAVE THE ROOM AND GET SOME AIR.

  5. well i sucked on lemons before bed and had mylanta as well also don't eat too much right before bed only something lite it will help!

  6. Your OB doc can prescribe medicine for you that is safe for the baby. I too, had the same issue when I was pregnant. Try sleeping with the upper part of your body elevated. It does tend to help some. I feel for you, I know how painful and stressful it can be. Good luck to you and your new little one on the way.

  7. Matlock is that whodunnit TV show with Andy Griffith. It's so boring and geriatric that you will prefer to suffer through your pregnancy instead of watching Matlock.
