Premarket Olly stands first in 480m Grade A1 Heat at Newcastle on Jan 17
The son of Balintore Brave out of Dunbolg Blonde, Premarket Olly, has won an electrifying 480 metre long Grade A1 Williamhill.com Stakes, taken place at Newcastle on January 17, 2012.
J Wright’s trainer responded strongly to his critics, who were raising concerns over his status as favourite hound with the odds of 5 to 4.
Although, the son of Balintore Brave out of Dunbolg Blonde was given a real tough competition by Yeneed Flash, a fine finish helped the black dog pocket a cash prize of £118. After leaving second stall, the champ covered the distance in 29.60 seconds.
Yeneed Flash, the son of Head Bound out of Shots Dinky, grabbed second position, falling a neck’s distance adrift of the victor. The white and blue dog was sent off with the winning chances of 7 to 2, breaking from third stall. Just 0.02 seconds behind
Premarket Olly, A Dawson’s trainee clocked the area in 29.62 seconds.
The third top place was secured by Droopys Gianni, trained by J Wright. The son of Blackstone Gene out of Droopys Sporty made a fine start, but got crowded afterwards. As a result of his inconsistency, he finished 3½ lengths behind the runner-up, reaching
the post in 29.90 seconds.
The fourth position went to another J Wright’s hound, Droopys Mahers. Similar to his group-fellow, the son of Boherduff Light out of Droopys Mynah, lost his momentum after a good start.
Since the black dog went wide after an excellent beginning, he could only manage to clinch third last position, with the finishing time of 30.20 seconds.
The fifth place was seized by Ultra Musicman, whereas Denwill Prince appeared as the back marker in the heat. The son of Ballymac Maeve out of Wordsandtune, who finished fifth on the chart, made to it to the final line in 30.30 seconds. His starting
price was 4 to 1, as the black and white dog set off the party from trap 1.
Denwill Prince, whose winning probability was 5 to 2, touched the final point in 30.36 seconds. The white and black dog remained at the back throughout, failing to do anything reasonable.
It was Premarket Olly’s second win of the New Year, and with such good record, he will definitely be bettors’ first choice in the upcoming races.
