Question:

Premature Travelling Question?

I am planning a trip next spring to Italy with my husband and daughter (possibly a niece). I really want to rent a house for a month and experience Italy. Does anyone have any ideas. I want to be within a bus distance of a larger city, but still be somewhere not too touristy. And it has to be reasonably priced. We returned this spring and travelling is getting expensive.

  1. Stay in Tuscany never Florence. Then you can get on a train in Florence and go anywhere in Italy. Go to www.selectitaly.com they have infor about renting Villas (italian houses) But remember when you do this you may need to bring everything for the house. Example towels, toliet paper,. Usually when we stayed at them they had basic kitchem stuff, bed and sheets you need everything else. Just ask when you book what is in the villas.

  2. Stay in Tuscany somewhere around Siena and Florence.  You'll be in a couple hours distance of Rome and Venice by train.....a little longer by bus.
