This was confirmed by the Cricket Australia (CA) in an official statement on Sunday.
"Due to the premature birth of Mike Hussey's fourth child, Cricket Australia (CA) supports Mike's request to remove himself from this tour for family reasons," said Cricket Australia executive general manager of team performance, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Howard-c63371.

Hussey, who was initially part of Australia’s one day squad for the British itinerary, had requested Cricket Australia to release him from the assignment, a request that was duly accepted by the top officials.
Hussey said that it was always difficult to miss any tour for Australia, but his family needed him at this time so he opted out of the itinerary.

He had been named as the stand-by player when the squad was announced in May this year. He will now board-in with the touring party on June 14.
The mighty Aussies will play a one-off One Day International against Ireland in Stormont on June 23, which will be followed by a five-match ODI series against Ashes Rivals England, starting at Lord’s on June 29. The Kangaroos are also scheduled to play two tour games, one each before and after the Ireland game.
