The match kicked off with Villa controlling the proceedings in the game early on. As a result it didn’t take the visitors long to find the back of the net. In the 15th minute, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Darren-Bent-c10358 rushed to the ball and bundled it over the line.
As the half progressed, things started to balance out rather well as Bolton picked up the pace. However, the home-side had to wait all the way till injury time of the first half to get their name on the score sheet.
In the first minute of added time, Bolton won a corner. Petrov took the resulting spot-kick and Gary Cahill leaped the highest to nod the ball into the back of the net.
In the second half things heated up once again. Both teams were looking lethal every time they attacked each other and it was only a matter of time before another goal was scored.
In the 64th minute Stuart Downing flew down the right flank and sent in a perfectly weighted pass into the box. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marc-Albrighton-c23470 dashed into the area to volley the ball into the back of the net and gave Villa a two goals to one lead in the game.
In the 68th minute Villa could have gone three-one up as they were awarded a penalty. Young was taken out by Wheater in the box. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ashley-Young-c6813 stepped up to take the resulting spot-kick himself, but had his shot saved.
Villa and young regretted this miss as in the 75th minute Bolton equalized via Cahill. Holden whipped in a brilliant corner which got blocked the first time, but Cahill managed to volley in the rebound in emphatic fashion.
Then in the 86th minute Bolton got the third and final goal in the game. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-Sturridge-c10076 whipped in a deep and curling cross in the area, which was attacked by Wheater. The ball then fell to Klasnic who went on to whip the ball into the bottom corner.
As a result of that third goal Bolton took all three points from the game and Villa went home with nothing.
