A typically ruthless Chelsea have, as expected, completely dominated against Blackpool at Stamford Bridge, and lead 4-0 at the break.
Salomon Kalou got the goalscoring party started as early as the second minute when he converted from a corner, before Florent Malouda coolly finished a Didier Drogba cross ten minutes later for the second.
Drogba’s shot on the turn was deflected in on the half hour mark to make it three, before Malouda smashed home Kalou’s cross for his second.
Blackpool have been unable to cope with their hosts power, and more goals in the second half look inevitable.
