Premier League Full Time Report: Fulham vs Liverpool – Part 2
In the 7th minute of the game, Maxi Rodriguez tapped his fine form once again, as he scored his and Liverpool’s second goal of the game. Glenn Johnson got down the flank for Liverpool and went on to bend in a tantalizing cross, into the Fulham
area. Rodriguez was the quickest to react and unleashed an unstoppable volley, which nestled into the back of the net, beyond the reach of Schwarzer.
In the 15th minute of the game, there was a giant appeal for a penalty by Liverpool. Suarez rushed into the Fulham area and was taken out by Hangeland. However, the referee didn’t see anything wrong with the challenge and waved the game to carry
on.
In the 16th minute, Liverpool managed to score their third goal of the game. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dirk-Kuyt-c11348 unleashed a tame effort at the Fulham goal from distance and seemed to be ready to turn his back at the goal. Nonetheless, Schwarzer went on to produce a howler,
as he let the Dutchman’s effort slide in between his gloves and under his body, into the back of the net. As a result of that goal, Kuyt managed to score in his fifth consecutive game.
Following the early schooling by Liverpool, the fact that Fulham had failed to score in their last seven meetings with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, just seemed to add to the overall picture. Despite it being quite early in the game, it seemed like Fulham were already well
out of the game by now.
In the 22nd minute, Suarez made another trademark darting run down the flank. He then went on to cut inside the Fulham area, after having beaten Hangeland with ease. However, after finding the angle to the goal to be a little too wide, he went
on to balloon an effort all the way across the pitch.
