Premier League Full Time Report: Fulham vs Liverpool – Part 3
Soon after, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 started to carry out the proceedings in the game, as though it was a training match. The Reds seemed all but worried about the outcome of the game and seemed to be trying to execute almost every move that they trained to perform in
the pre-match training.
However in the 34th minute, Fulham showed a glimmer of hope, as they almost tested http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pepe-Reina-c29672 in the Liverpool goal for the first time. Clint Dempsey connected with a volley from a corner and the ball seemed destined for the back of the net. Johnson
managed to get in front of the ball just in time and managed to deflect the ball behind the post.
In the 41st minute of the game, Suarez tried his luck as he took a pop from distance at the Fulham goal. Having already seen Schwarzer get beaten from range before, the striker was hoping for more of the same. However this time around the keeper
was up to the challenge and managed to keep out the striker’s effort.
In the 45th minute, Dempsey was shown a yellow card for a rather silly challenge. After having lost the ball to Spearing, the American international went on to lunge into the player, to try and win the ball back, but was eventually shown a yellow
card for his efforts.
Soon after, the first half came to a close, with Liverpool looking to go into the half time break with a well deserved three goals to one lead. It appeared as though Kenny Dalglish was more than likely to get his men to play more of the same football, while
Mark Hughes was going to urge Fulham to go out and give it their all in the second-half of the game.
