Premier League Goal Summary: Arsenal vs Bolton Wanderers
Arsenal played host to the Bolton Wanderers at the Emirates, in a game that both the sides were looking to win.
Both Arsenal and Bolton had, had a very poor start to their Premier League season and were in desperate need to pick up all three points. Arsenal needed to pick up the win to prove their worth, while Bolton just needed the points to get out of a very dangerous
area in the league standings.
The match kicked off with Bolton creating some chances early on in the game, but with them failing to really test Arsenal.
Soon after the Gunners got into their stride and started taking the game to their opponents. Despite all their efforts, Arsenal just couldn’t seem to break the deadlock and the first half ended with both teams heading into the break with the score card reading
nil all.
In the 47th minute, right after the break it was Arsenal’s captain http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aaron-Ramsey-c3065 bossed the midfield and played a brilliant through ball towards the striker. The Dutch international then sprinted
towards the ball and tucked in a very neat finish to give Arsenal the one goal to nil lead.
In the 54th minute, the Gunners were given some help from the visitors as Wheater was shown a red card for a late tackle on Walcott, who was clean on goal.
In the 69th minute of the game, Van Persie converted a brilliant cross from Walcott and gave the Gunners the two goals to nil lead in the game. What made this goal all the more special, was the fact that this was the first time this season that
Arsenal were leading by two goals and because it was the hundredth goal that the Dutchman had scored for Arsenal.

The midfielder evaded a tackle just outside the area and then set himself up, before blasting the ball into the back of the net.
