Premier League Goal Summary: Aston Villa 1 vs 2 Arsenal
Aston Villa played host to Arsenal, after having lost to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 by two goals to nil over the weekend. Despite holding onto the Gunners for the most part, the Villas lost the game thanks to a Yossi Benayoun goal. The Israeli international popped up late
in the game and scored the goal that saw Arsenal win by two goals to one.
Prior to the match it was believed that Arsenal would easily secure all three points, mainly due to the difference in form that both the sides were displaying.
Arsenal were fighting for a spot in the top four, while Villa were looking to get any point that would help them climb into the top half of the table.

Following the goal, Arsenal went on to bombard Villa with attacks and started to dominate possession in the game. The team looked threatening on a number of occasions, but for some odd reason, they just couldn’t find the back of the net.
In the 85th minute, all of that changed as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 whipped in a corner, which fell towards Benayoun after some poor defending. The Gunners midfielder then went on to head the ball goal
wards, as he sent his effort crashing into the back of the net.
Following the goal, Arsenal managed to hold onto their lead, as they went on to pick up all three points from the game.
