Premier League Goal Summary: Manchester City 5 vs 1 Norwich City
Manchester City played host to a resilient Norwich City in the Premier League, as they looked to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.
The match, despite seeming to be an easy one, was more than likely to be a harder game than most people though, mainly because of the form that Norwich had shown in the league.
The first goal of the game was scored in the 32nd minute and by none other than Aguero. The Argentine striker went on to find the ball in the area and despite six defenders marking him, he turned and went on to hit a low shot into the back of
the net.
In the 51st minute, Nasri went on to hit a tame free kick into the area and just when it seemed like the keeper would catch the ball, he let it bounce past him and into the net. As a result, City went on to lead by two goals to nil in the game.
Yaya Toure went on score City’s third goal of the game. Nasri played a pass to Silva, who found Toure with a low pass. The midfielder then hit a low shot into the bottom right hand corner of the goal, as he gave his side the three goal advantage.
In the 80th minute, Steve Morison went on to hit a fine header into the back of the net, as he tried to get something out of the game for his side. However, with the score card reading three goals to one, it seemed like his best efforts were going
to end up falling short.
Balotelli went on to score in the 87th minute, in a rather humorous manner. The strikers initial effort was flicked up in the air by the keeper and Balotelli chased the ball, before hitting it into the back of the net via his shoulder.
In the stoppage time of the game, Kompany played a pass to Johnson, who went on to calmly stroke the ball into the far corner of the goal.
In doing so, he helped City win their game by five goals to one against Norwich.
