Premier League Goal Summary – Manchester City vs Wigan Athletic
Manchester City played host to Wigan Athletic at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League. Going into the game, Wigan were well aware of the fact that they had a colossus task ahead of them, with City currently being in fine form and being unbeaten in the
Premier League.
In just the 13th minute of the game, Manchester City opened the scoring in the game. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Silva-c10601 went on to produce some fine skill to beat a defender and then went on to play a brilliant ball towards Aguero. Aguero then went on to smack the ball
into the left hand corner of the goal and with the keeper going the wrong way, there was no chance of that effort being kept out of the goal.
In the 18th minute Tevez went on to hit a penalty towards the Wigan goal, but a poorly timed effort saw Al Habsi make a fine save and keep his side in the game.
In the 63rd minute, Silva and Nasri combined with some fine passing and created acres of space. The two after breaking free, played Aguero on with a brilliant ball and the striker found the back of the net, making no mistake in front of goal,
once again. As a result City were now leading the game by two goals to nil and didn’t seem to want to stop any time soon.
In the 69th minute, Aguero went on to complete his hat trick as he scored his and City’s third goal of the game. Silva was once again the architect of the move, as he played a brilliant through ball to play Aguero on. The striker then beat the
offside trap, before rolling the ball into the back of the net.
The match then ended with City beating their opponents by three goals to nil and maintaining their perfect start to the Premier League season this time around.
