Premier League Goal Summary: Norwich City 4 vs 2 Newcastle United
Norwich City played host to Newcastle United in the Premier League, as both the teams seemed determined to pick up all three points from the game.
Norwich had been turning heads in recent weeks thanks to their outstanding performances in the league, while Newcastle were having one of their best starts to a Premier League season.
Nonetheless, given the quality that Newcastle possessed, nearly everyone expected the team to come out on top at the end of the game.
The first goal of the game came in the 39th minute, as Norwich went on to find the back of the net. Surman curled in a corner, which was met by Crofts. The ball then fell to Hoolahan, who got the last touch on the ball, as he bundled it over the
line to give his side the lead.
Just before the end of the half, Newcastle went on to equalize. Cabaye found Ba with a brilliant pass and the striker took the ball down, before sliding it into the back of the net with ease.
In the 60th minute, Norwich went on to reclaim their one goal advantage. Holt headed the ball goalwards, only to see Krul make a brilliant save. However, the ball fell back to the Norwich player, who made no mistake with his second attempt at
goal.
In the 63rd minute, Norwich went on to score a third goal, as they looked to seal all three points for themselves. Morison met a cross from Crofts, as he smashed the ball into the net using his head.

goal.
In the 83rd minute, Norwich assured the three points for themselves, as Holt headed in the team’s fourth goal of the game.
Soon after, the game ended with Norwich turning out to be the surprise winners, as they scored four goals compared to Newcaslte’s two.
Newcastle now need to pick their pace back up, if they are to stand any chance of finishing in the top six.
