In the 45th minute Buzsaky doubled QPR’s lead in the game as he scored his first goal in the Premier League. Buzsaky went on to take a free kick from some twenty five yards out and sent his effort into Hall and then into the back of the net.
Wigan tried to get back in the game, as Rodallega reduced the deficit to one goal in the 65th minute. The striker stepped up to take a free kick for his side and sent a cracker into the top right side of the post.
In the 72nd minute, QPR were awarded another penalty as Helguson was taken out in the area. Helguson stepped up to take the spot kick himself, but this time around, Al-Habsi went on to produce a fine save to keep the effort out.
