Stoke City faced West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League. The match ended with West Brom taking all three points from the game, following a 90th minute goal scored by Graham Dorrans.
Stoke were looking to pick up all three points from the game, as they looked to get closer to the top six, in hopes of securing a European spot.
On the other hand, West Brom were looking to get a maximum number of points, as they were looking to pick their season up, following a partially disappointing start to their campaign.
In the34th minute West Brom went on to open the scoring in the game, as Morrison opened the scoring. Morrison’s shot was hit from distance and just when it looked like Sorensen would claim it, it swerved past the keeper and into the goal.
In the 70th minute, Walters was tackled in the area and Stoke had a chance to level things up via a penalty. However, the resulting spot kick, which was taken by Walters was sent too close to Foster, who made a comfortable save in the end.
Stoke finally pulled level in the 85th minute, as Jerome scored for the home side. Pennant whipped in a free kick which the striker met with ease, as he glanced his effort into the back of the net.
Just when it looked like the game would end as a draw, West Brom scored the match winner in the 90th minute of the game. West Brom were awarded a free kick on the edge of the box. Dorrans stepped up take the kick and sent his effort through a
number of bodies, before seeing it hit the back of the net.
As a result of that goal, West Brom went on win by two goals to one and secured all three points from the game.
