Wolverhampton Wanderers took on Aston Villa at home in the Premier League. Despite the homeside looking like they could win the game, a double from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robbie-Keane-c31215 saw Villa claim all three points in the game.
Wolves went into the game hoping to get something out of it, considering how poorly they were doing in the league after the turn of the year.
However, with Villa now possessing ample strikers, they were more than likely to give Wolves a run for their money.
The match kicked off with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Darren-Bent-c10358 opening the scoring in the game. In the 10th minute, Villa were awarded a penalty and Bent stepped up to take the spot kick. The striker sent the keeper the wrong way and sent his effort into the back of the
net.
In the 21st minute, things were level at one all. Knight zipped into the area and beat his marker, before sending a low shot past the keeper.
Wolves then went on to take the lead in the 21st minute, as Edwards scored for the home side. Johnson flicked a head goal wards from a corner and Edwards got the final touch on it, as he tipped it into the goal, just before the keeper could grab
it.
Keane, the man on loan from LA Galaxy went on to level the score once again, as he scored for Villa. Clark headed the ball towards Keane and the striker calmly slotted the ball into the back of the net, despite being pressurised by the defenders.
Five minutes from time, Keane went on to claim all three points for his side, as he scored the match winner. A poor clearance from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952 saw the ball fall to Keane at the edge of the box. The striker then took a touch, before smashing the ball into the
back of the net.
As a result of that last goal, Villa won by three goals to two and claimed all three points from the game.
