Premier League Gossip, Ferdinand looking to make return, Juve in for Pienaar

Wayne Rooney has officially been ruled out of participating in any matches, for at least another three weeks. This news has been taken as both positive and negative by the media. It is positive because the player will get the much needed break that he requires,
however this would also mean that Rooney will be missing out on England’s Euro Qualifier game.
This means that Rooney will add to the injured attackers that England currently have along with, Jermain Defoe and Bobby Zamora. Fabio Capello will now be forced to pick between Darren Bent or Peter Crouch for the upcoming match against Montenegro on the
twelfth of October.
The national team manager will also be without the services of Frank Lampard and Theo Walcott, while James Milner is suspended.
However there is some bright light at the end of a very dark tunnel for the team. Rio Ferdinand might just finally make it back to full fitness and participate in the upcoming game.
The defender, is also looking to play in United’s match against Valencia tonight. He is however still a fifty fifty for the game. The defender is also rumoured to have stood throughout the teams flight from Manchester to Sunny Spain. This is because the player
did not wish to risk aggregating his already dodgy back injury, by sitting on the airlines seats for such a long duration.
Gerard Houllier, the new Aston Villa manager has up to three months, to decide if he wishes to retain players, that would cost the team around sixteen million pounds.
This is because a trio of players, Nigel Reo-Coker, Steve Sidwell and John Carew are all going to be out of contracts in the near future and the chairmen have left it up to the manager to decide, if he wishes to keep the players at the club for the future,
otherwise the players could be on their way out of the club as free agents in around eight months.
According to a media source: 'Houllier must act fast if he wants to keep the men, who will not be short of offers from Premier League rivals,' says the Mirror. 'Their exit would also ease Villa's huge £70m annual wage bill as all three earn around £50,000
a week. But if Villa decide to cash in they can expect only nominal fees with so little left on their contracts.'

Juventus are the newest team, that are looking to sign out of favour Tottenham midfielder, Steven Pienaar. The midfielder had been looking for a move away from the club throughout the summers and seems to be on the verge of finally getting what he asked for.
The South Africans contract will expire in the summers and now Everton will have to decide if they wish to let the player go for free in the summers, or get some sort of money out of the players transfer in January.
Juventus just like Everton have had a very slow start to their season, however they are more than likely to finish on a much higher note then the English side. Pienaar has also said that he wishes to participate in some Champions League football before he
retires, which is something he might never be able to do at Everton.
