Premier League Gossip: Pienaar on his way out, Keane on his way to Italy

Everton’s long term want away midfielder Steven Pienaar, might finally be on his way out of the club after all. It was revealed last night by the team’s captain, Phil Neville that the team had so far failed miserably in trying to convince the South African
to retain his spot in the Everton side.
The player who joined the team way back in 2007, seems to have grown tired of not achieving anything at the club and with his patience wearing thing, along with his contract running out in the summers, it is highly unlikely that the player would continue
to play in an Everton jersey this coming season.
Neville was reported to have said: "He's from South Africa, he's played in Ajax, then Dortmund now he's been to Everton and had the happiest days of his career I think. The club wants him to stay, but there's not much else we can say.
"He's probably weighing up his options now and you just hope for our sake that he signs.
"I wouldn't want another player delving into it, if I was in this situation. It's between the manager, Steven and the chairman. It's just up to Steven to make the right decision now."
Pienaar was recently evaluated to be worth around fifteen million pounds by the club, however due to their inability to let him go in the past they might now have to let the South African midfield magician leave for free.
Another player who could be in line for a shock move is Tottenham’s former captain and star striker Robbie Keane. Keane has over the course of the last couple of seasons seen him go from being the sole saviour of the team, to the butt of every joke that
is made about the club.
In simple words the player has lost any and all credibility that he might have ever had. However all hope is apparently not lost for the player, apparently there is a team that is looking to retain the services of the thirty year old.
The team that is looking to sign the striker is none other than the ‘Old Lady’ of Italian football, Juventus. The team is currently running low on strikers and is looking to make a move for the veteran striker as early as January.
Terms of the deal are yet to be agreed between the two teams, however once a formal transfer request is made for the player, then Tottenham might find it impossible to hold on to the services of the striker. Nonetheless it is a move that could prove to be
for the better of both the player and the club.
