Premier League Gossip: Stewart Downing in demand, No deal for Nasri at Arsenal as yet, Falcao to North London?
Stewart Downing wanted by Liverpool and Arsenal
It seems like Aston Villa midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Stewart-Downing-c34221 is now becoming one of the most in-demand players in the Premier League. After failing to comment on any contract talks with the Villans, it seems like the midfielder is destined to be on his way out
of the club in the summers.
It was previously believed that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 were the prime favourites to landing the player’s services, however, it now seems like Arsenal are also going to be trying their luck, by making a move for the winger/midfielder.
Downing, who has lately seemed to suffer from a major slump, is looking to rescue his career and in order to do so, it seems like he is going to be pursuing his future elsewhere.
At the moment, neither side have gone on to make a clear-cut offer for the player, but, according to the experts, Downing shouldn’t cost either side more than twelve million pounds.

Samir Nasri has still not committed to the Emirates

One of Arsenal’s stand out performers, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360, seems to be re-thinking his future as a Gunners player. The midfielder, who was set to extend his stay at the club earlier this year, is yet to put pen to paper to a new contract and hence his future at the
club seems rather gloomy.
The Gunners seem to have offered the player a new and improved contract, which would see him get tied down to the team for the next five years. However, the player and his agent are still stalling any talks regarding that matter.
Arsene Wenger, despite stating that he admires Nasri, has stated that he wants an answer from the player in the near future. The reason for the manager to act that way, is because he doesn’t want to beat around the bush any longer and wants to know if he
needs to find a replacement for Nasri in the summers, or not.

Tottenham Hotspur and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 set to battle it out for Falcao
It seems like there is going to be a North London bidding war, to capture the signature of Porto’s striking sensation, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Radamel-Falcao-c30276.
The two teams are apparently head over heels for the forward and would be willing to meet the price set on his buy-out clause to land him.
The player’s agent is reported to have said: '"http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 are crazy about Falcao"
Among the leading candidates are Arsenal and Tottenham. They are willing to hit the €30m [£25.9m] clause. The figure is not an extraordinary value for them."'
