Premier League Gossip: Tevez could have joined Chelsea, De Gea to cost a lot of money
Manchester City are now officially, the first team to have beaten Chelsea in the Premier League this season, however the man who made the difference in the night, Carlos Tevez is reported to have said that, had things tuned out between him and Carlo Ancelotti,
then the Argentinean would have been playing at the Stamford Bridge.

In an interview with the Guardian, Teves was reported to have said:
"I did have a chat with Chelsea and I spoke to Carlo Ancelotti; we had a conversation.

"But there was never a concrete offer, not one in writing. I always believe concrete offers are made in writing, that wasn't the case with Chelsea."

There is more Manchester related news and this it is from the Blue sides opponents, Athletico Madrid have grown aware of Manchester United's interest in their upcoming goal keeper, David De Gea. The team has in fact gone on to finally slap a price tag on the
young keeper, in hopes that no team would want to pursue him in the future.
The Spanish side has gone ahead and stated that, any team wanting to acquire the keeper will have to splash out a minimum of seventeen million pounds. That is a rather high price tag for someone who hasn't even hit his twenties yet.
Considering Manchester United have grown fond of the player, they might just go through with the deal in January. This is because De Gea is worth every penny of the asking price.
Gerard Houllier is another man who is looking for a new goal keeper. For now he has finally managed to put pen to paper on his contract at the Villa Park, has gone on about his first act as the Villa boss.
The new manager has identified that one of his priorities at the club, is to retain the services of Ashley Young.
Houllier has wasted no time in talking to the player about his future and is reported to have said: "Am I hopeful Ashley will sign a new contract? Yes. It's going on well. The discussions are positive."

This could be Houllier's way of trying to win some points of the fans, either way it is something that would help both the team and the manager.

Tottenham boss, Harry Redknapp has been shown the door by West Ham. The manager over the last couple of months had started to grow his level of interest in Scott Parker, however West Ham have wasted no time, in telling the manager that their star player is
off limits and no bids for the player, will be entertained.
