Premier League Gossip – Torres, Reina out of Pool while United line-up Julio Cesar
It has been reported that a number of players at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, have stated to the club's owners that just sacking Roy Hodgson won't be enough to retain their services.
Two of the prime players' to be involved in this confrontation are reported to be http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pepe-Reina-c29672. Both the player's had been previously linked with moves away from Anfield, but it now seems like they might actually consider doing so. That
is of course only if the player's demands aren't met. Apparently the duo is demanding the replacement of Hodgson with a high-profile manger, who can actually do some good at the team.
Had these threats been made a couple of months ago, they would have been put aside as useless rumors once again. However, it now seems the two Spanish internationals are more serious then they have ever been. This is due to the fact that the two of them
have become high profile targets over the last couple of months and if they were to show any reason to leave the team, then almost every team in Europe would pounce at the opportunity to land the players.
One of the teams that have been linked with Reina are Manchester United. However, it seems like the Red Devils might actually try their luck with another keeper at first. The keeper that the team are looking to make a move for is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan's prized asset,
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Julio-Cesar-c19961. The keeper was voted to be amongst the best in the world last season and considering Edwin Van Der Sar is soon going to call it quits on his career. The Old Trafford staff is looking to bring in the 31-year-old in hopes to have a world class replacement
for their outgoing world class veteran.
However, according to most experts, if the team does not manage to land Cesar, then they would almost definitely make a move for Reina in the summers, irrelevant of the managerial situation at the club by the end of this term.
