Premier League Gossip: United to buy another keeper, City to spend again
Manchester United seem to be on the verge of signing yet another keeper. The team seems to be on the verge of signing an unknown keeper in the coming days, but that doesn't mean the team is done shopping for keepers.
It has been reported that the team are still contemplating a move for Atletico Madrid's prized asset, David De Gea in the winter transfer window.
The player who is part of the Spanish Under-21 side, has been one of the most impressive finds at Atletico over the course of the last decade or so. In fact the player was previously reported to be not for sale by the club; however this
being the football world, for the right price almost any player becomes available for sale. United will be hoping to land the young keeper for a price range of around fifteen million pounds and will also be hoping to wrap up the deal as soon as possible.
On the other hand, a move for De Gea would mean that Tomasz Kuszczak's days at United are being numbered and it won't be long before the keeper finds himself on the way out from Old Trafford.
On the other end of Manchester, Roberto Mancini is looking to make a move for Espanyol's, Victor Ruiz as he is looking to enforce and strengthen the back line at the Eastlands. The manager has lately been suffering some shocking results
in the Premier League and feels that he needs to reinforce his back line if he hopes to get anything out of the season.
As a result the manager is going for the 21-year-old Spanish international and is willing to spend as much as seven million pounds for another player that no one has heard of.
The manager is also reported to be desperate to sign the player and is willing to make an official bid for him as early as January, despite having said previously that he would not be looking to spend big in the winter transfer window.
