Blackburn drawing level with Arsenal for a second time in the game.
In the 59th minute, another free kick caused problems for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429. The ball was then played to Nzonzi, who flashed a ball across the face of the goal. Yakubu who was in an offside position right in front of the lines man, turned the ball into
the goal and with no one signalling for the offside, the goal stood and helped Blackburn take the lead in the game.
In the 69th minute, Olsson went on to dash down the right flank and then tired to play a pass back across the face of the goal. Inexplicably, Koscielny got to the ball and somehow turned it past Szczesny. Thanks to a second own goal. Arsenal were
now trailing Blackburn by four goals to two and didn’t look to be on their way back in the game any time soon.
In the 85th minute, there was a glimmer of home, which some felt could have helped Arsenal pick up one point from the game.
Van Persie picked out Chamakh with a brilliant cross and the striker guided the ball into the back of the net with a brilliant effort.
However, despite that, with just five minutes left on the clock, Arsenal just couldn’t get back into the game and as a result, suffered another defeat in their Premier League campaign.
