Premier League Match Report: Bolton Wanderers vs Manchester City – Part 2
The second half of the game kicked off in dramatic fashion as City attacked the Bolton goal right after the whistle and went on to find the back of the net in the 47th minute.
A ball was played towards Dzeko and with Knight failing to contain the forward, he allowed Dzeko to muscle his way towards the goal and then go on to find the back of the net, with a low precise finish. As a result, City were now leading by three goals to one in the game.
In the 63rd minute, Bolton had a free kick awarded to them in a dangerous area. Petrov went on to curl the ball in and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kevin-Davies-c20716 leaped the highest to meet the flight of the ball and guide it right into the corner of the goal, giving Hart no chance of stopping the ball.
In the 69th minute, Silva was on the brink of scoring another goal for City, but a last ditch tackle from Knight denied the midfielder from inflicting further damage on their opponents.
In the 83rd minute of the game, Johnson went on to step past Knight in the Bolton area and went on to cross/shoot a ball just wide of the far post. Tevez was waiting to tap the ball in, but the ball slid just beyond his reach and went behind for a goal kick.
Soon after, the referee blew the whistle to signal the end of the game, which saw City edge past Bolton in a five goal thriller.
