Chelsea played host to Manchester City in the Premier League, as both the teams were looking to pick up three points which would see them get a little closer to Manchester United.
A win for Manchester City would see them climb back to the top of the table, while a win for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 would see them jump over the high flying West Bromwich Albion, and sit in the third spot in the league table.
The match kicked off with City created the early chances in the game, and in the 21st minute, the visiting side had the first real chance of the game.
Zabaleta went on to dart forward before he whipped a cross into the box. Silva leaped up to head the ball, but his effort went on to fly well over the bar.

Then five minutes later, Aguero failed to convert with a header and sent an effort straight to Cech.
In the second half, Chelsea looked to be a little more threatening, but it wasn’t until the 53rd minute till they seemed to come close to scoring.

Torres went on to snap at a loose ball in the box on the 61st minute mark. However, his effort was always rising and failed to hit the target.
The last decent chance of the game fell into City’s path in stoppage time at the end of the game. A corner was met by Nastasic who managed to get good contact on the ball. However, Cech went on to dive down and claim the ball before it went on to sail over
the line.
As a result, the match ended in a nil all draw, and saw both the teams share the points from the game.
