Chelsea took on Norwich City at home, as the London based club looked to maintain the firm grasp that they had at the top of the Premier league table.
On the other hand, with Norwich having the worst conversion rate in the league, it was going to be rather easy for the team to try and use their defensive authority against their rather weaker opponents.
The first goal of the game came in the 11th minute, as Norwich scored the surprise goal in the opening minutes of the game. Bassong sent in a cross to Holt, who volleyed the ball past the keeper and into the back of the net.

However, Chelsea weren’t done just yet. The home side went onto score a fourth goal in the game before the match came to an end, as they saw Ivanovic score via a volley.
Mata went on to control and flick a ball to the full back, who smashed a fine effort into the near post, leaving the keeper with no chance at all, of keeping the ball out of the net.
