Chelsea took on Stoke City at home, as they looked to continue their stay at the top of the Premier League table. However, given the fact that they had played mid week football against Juventus, things weren’t going to be too easy for the team.
The match kicked off with Torres nearly scoring in the opening ten minutes, but the striker managed to send his header over the bar.

and as a result the keeper managed to gather the ball with ease.
As a result, the first half ended in a nil all draw, with neither side being able to score a goal early on.
In the second half, Chelsea came out with all guns blazing, while Stoke looked to create an odd chance of their own.
