Premier League Match Report: Fulham vs Manchester City – Part 1
Manchester City travelled to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham in a scheduled game in the English Premier League. Going into the game, Manchester City were being hailed as the favourites to come out on top, mainly because the team had, had a perfect start
to their season and were looking to be an unstoppable force of nature. The Citizens had been running havoc in the Premier League and Fulham themselves felt like they didn’t stand a chance against their opponents in the game.
The match kicked off with Manchester City looking to run the show, just like everyone had predicted. The visiting side were on top of things. City were running circles around Fulham, who didn’t seem capable of doing anything to prevent them from falling
behind their opponents.
In the 18th minute, it was Manchester City’s Argentine hit man, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Aguero who opened the proceedings on the night. The forward went on to position himself brilliantly, as he just beat the Fulham offside trap. He then went on to charge towards
the goal, before ultimately turning it into the back of the net. The move was only made possible due to a brilliant pass that was played by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Silva-c10601, which allowed Aguero to make the run in the first place.
Following the goal, many would have expected City to dominate the game. However, that was not the case. Fulham were slowly working their way back into the match and seemed to be creeping their way onto the visiting side.
Fulham created a number of brilliant opportunities for themselves, but just couldn’t produce that little something extra in front of goal.
Soon after City worked their way back into the game and were looking to run the show once again. However, with both teams going back and forth, the first half came to an end and City went into the half time break with the one goal lead and everything to
be happy about.
