Fulham played host to Manchester City in the Premier League, as the home side felt they could potentially secure a point against the reigning Premier League champions.
The match kicked off with Fulham taking the offensive against the visitors.
In the 9th minute of the game, Fulham went on to win a penalty. Zabaleta went on to take out RIsse in the area, as he mistimed his tackle. The referee didn’t hesitate, as he went on to point straight to the spot.
Petric stepped up to take the spot kick, and with him not hesitating, he went on to slot a perfectly placed effort into the back of the net.
From then on, the game went on to open up as both the teams looked to have a go at each other. With both the teams attacking, City’s quality went on to shine through as they went on to create the better chances out of the two sides.
Despite all the intent that the team was showing, they failed to find the back of the net via all their efforts.
In the 43rd minute of the game, all of that changed as Aguero went on to find the back of the net to level the scores in the game. Silva went on to shoot at goal, as the keeper went on to rebound his shot back into play. Aguero then went onto
react the fastest, as he tapped the ball into the back of the net.
The second half proved to be a much more tame event, when compared to the first half. Both City and Fulham once again looked to score, but this time around it was Fulham who went on to create the better chances.
