Liverpool played host to Manchester City in a game that was going to be a real test for both the teams involved in the match.

they extended their stay at the top of the Premier League.
City were yet to lose a game in the Premier League and were not looking to start their losing habits against Liverpool.

In the 6th minute of the game, Toure went on to attempt the first shot on target of the game, as he sent a shot wide of the mark from the edge of the box.

net.
However, City’s celebrations were all short lived, as just two minutes later, they were picking the ball out of their own goal. Adam went on to take a shot at goal from distance, but fortunately for City Lescott managed to stick a boot out to stop the shot,
but went on to force it into the back of his own net.

save, as he tipped the ball over the post and denied his side from trailing to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809.
As the half progressed, neither side managed to produce another convincing and the referee soon signalled for the first half to come to an end.
With both the teams heading into the half time break, Liverpool seemed to be the happier side, as they had managed to contain City in the match.
