The second half of the game saw the Reds take to the field in exhilarating manner. Liverpool came onto the pitch and seemed to have a point to prove as they really took the game to Bolton.
In the 52nd of the game, Adam went on to curl in a brilliant corner which was picked up by Skrtel, who thumped in the ball into the back of the net and in doing so, helped Liverpool extend their lead to two goals.
Just a minute later, the provider turned into goal scorer. Kuyt went on to play a ball towards Adam, who didn’t waste time and drilled a first time effort into the back of the net.
Liverpool were now leading the game by three goals to nil and seemed destined to pick up all three points from the game.
As the match carried on, Liverpool went on to create a number of chances. The Reds came awfully close to scoring on two more occasions, but thanks to the brilliant saves from Jaaskelainen, the damage that could be done was contained.
In the 75th minute, the referee managed to avoid giving Liverpool a penalty, despite Robinson taking down Suarez in the box and not connecting with any of the ball.
In the 2nd minute of stoppage time Petrov got inside the Liverpool area as an error from Carragher allowed to break free. The ball then managed to somehow find its way to Klasnic who rifled the ball into the back of the net, to get his and Bolton’s
consolation goal of the game.
Soon after, the game ended with Liverpool winning by three goals to one.
