Following the rather impressive display in the first half, Liverpool took to the field in the second half looking to continue from exactly where they left off.
All the players looked to be stepping out on the pitch with a point to prove, and it felt like the team was looking to ensure that they would claim all three points from the game.
This positive change in the team’s attitude was welcomed b the fans, who seemed to finally be getting what they wanted from their team.

The out of favour winger who already had one assist to his name went on to score the next goal of the game for his team.
In the 52nd minute of the game, Downing was allowed to cut onto his left, as he unleashed a shot that cannoned into the back of the net and past the keeper.
Following that goal, Liverpool tried to contain themselves, but they still managed to score a number of other chances. At the same time, Downing continued to impress throughout the game.
The Reds then went on to score a fourth and final goal in the game, as Luis Suarez found the back of the net in stoppage time.
A corner was played to Jose Enrique, who then played a pass to Suarez in the area. The striker then went on to tap the ball into the back of the net with ease, as he had acres of space to find the back of the net.
