Premier League Match Report – Liverpool vs Sunderland – Part 2
The second half of the game saw Sunderland come out of the tunnel with a motive to go ahead and get something out of the game. The Black Cats were looking to tear at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 and started off rather brilliantly.
In the 53rd minute, Gyan dived in to head the ball goalwards, unfortunately, his effort was targeted straight at Riena, who gathered with ease.
In the 56th minute, ElMohammady went on to whip in a brilliant cross. Larsson went on to meet the cross with a perfectly timed flying kick, as he smashed the ball into the back of the net from a very difficult angle.
In the 62nd minute of the game, Adam whipped in a brilliant corner which was met by Carroll. The forward directed his header straight on target, but saw the keeper do his best to bounce the ball back in play. Enrique went on to whip in another
ball into the box during the same run of play, but this time around, Carroll sent his effort well wide of the mark.
In the 74th minute of the game, Downing went on to bend in another great cross, which was met by the head of Agger. However, Mignolet was present to gather the ball and to avoid any problems to his side.
In the 87th minute of the game, Carroll went on to get his head onto another brilliantly placed cross. However, the striker once again went on to miss the mark altogether.
Soon after, the game came to an end with both the sides ending the match with one goal apiece and sharing the points in the game. Neither manager could be disappointed with the result, given that both sides played rather well during the game.
