Following a series of poor results in recent weeks, Manchester United went on to play host to QPR at Old Trafford as they looked to get back to their winning ways.
With QPR currently having a transitional period in their management, considering the fact that Mark Hughes had just been fired, this game was going to be relatively easy pickings for the Red Devils.
The match kicked off at a very slow tempo, with neither side really looking to get forward. United went on to create a few chances, but due to some very poor movement in the final third and some disappointing efforts, they failed to score.
QPR went on to attack United on the counter and Mackie managed to put the ball in the back of the net in the 37th minute for the team. However, the goal was ruled to be scored from an offside position at the end of the day.
The second half kicked off with a bang as QPR went on to score in the 52nd minute of the game. Dyer went on to fire a low ball towards the goal, but the ball somehow rebounded back and Mackie was present to turn it into the back of the net.
Following that goal United picked up the pace and went on to score a goal of their own in the 64th minute. Rooney whipped in a corner which Welbeck headed down. Evans went on to meet that ball and nodded it over the line with ease.
The team then went on to take the lead just minutes later as Fletcher scored for United. Another corner was whipped in, but this time around Fletcher met the flight of the ball and bombed his header into the back of the net.
United then ended the game as a contest in the 71st minute, as Hernandez scored the Red Devils third goal of the game.

As  a result of that goal, United went on to claim all three points from the game, as they picked up a very comfortable win.
